As we work as a community to prepare for the impact of COVID-19, we wanted to share how eLearning at NCCE is addressing the current situation. The health and safety of our employees, customers, and training partners are our primary concern. There are a number of measures we are taking to ensure we manage to safely get through this fluid situation while continuing to serve our customers, training partners, and employees effectively.
For our customers, eLearning at NCCE is maintaining our services and ensuring our trainings and courses online are fully operational. Our technical environments and processes are monitored 24 hours a day, under the supervision of our eLearning Director.
As many of you shift to more remote learning, our online learning platform can play an integral role in keeping you safe and educated. Our self-paced, virtual, online professional learning offerings are as accessible and informative from home as they are from the office. More broadly, in this fast-moving public health crisis impacting individuals in well over 100 countries, it’s critical to act on at home professional development opportunities, and we appreciate the ability to provide these offerings to thousands of organizations and individuals globally.
With our online training opportunities being offered as expected, we have taken the following steps to protect the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and training partners:
- All employees have been strongly encouraged to work remotely. Work-related travel and event attendance has been limited, postponed, or canceled.
- We continue to monitor recommendations from the WHO, CDC, and elected officials so we remain up-to-date on the latest information and safety protocols.
During this time of uncertainty, we will do everything we can to support individuals, the educational community, and our training partners around the world. Should conditions shift, we are confident we can quickly respond to the changing market dynamics, minimizing impacts to our business and disruptions to our customers and partners.
These are challenging and uncertain times, but we feel confident that we can get through this together!
